Veteran Services has moved!Our office has relocated to a newly remodeled location. Our normal business hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm. The new location is in the Lincoln Parking Garage on the corner of Lincoln and University (recently vacated by Transportation & Parking). We are sharing the space with the Disability Resource Center. The basic remodeling has been completed which enabled us to move in before school started. The second phase of remodeling is construction of a lounge for you, our Veterans. We are hoping this will occur during Spring semester. We are very excited about our new space and all that it will offer you as students. Stop by and visit!
YOU HAVE TO BE A FULL-TIME STUDENT TO RECEIVE THE FULL BASIC ALLOWANCE FOR HOUSING (BAH) (BAH) PAYMENT?You need to be a full-time student for that session (see academic calendar) to receive the full amount of your BAH. See the semester equivalency table . Your rate of pursuit must be at least 51% (7 credits for regular semester) to receive 1/2 of the normal BAH rate. Please make sure you have provided our office with your most recent award letter, you will receive this in the mail. If you cannot find your most recent award letter please click here and follow instructions how to help you to print your award letter from E-Benefits.

The Boise State Veteran Service Office has been named a “Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs Magazine for three consecutive years. Our office and website are set up to provide information and procedures relevant to all Education Benefits provided through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Key to making the transition into university life from the military and utilizing any GI Bill ®VA educational benefits (if applicable), is interacting with our office. If you have questions we will have answers and will help you navigate through any and all processes.
