Honoring Veterans!

Honor Veterans past and present for their outstanding service during Veterans Week, Nov. 3-7, at Boise State University.  Events will include the first Veterans Cup Challenge, Friday, Nov. 7, noon-2pm on the Intramural Field next to the Student Union. Engage in some friendly competition: obstacle course, dizzy bat, egg toss and relay. Gather some friends and form a team. The following week, on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to noon, a ceremony and reception will take place at the Stueckle Sky Center.  Free parking will be available in the stadium lot and volunteers will be directing traffic.

Events are free and open to the public. For more information visit Veterans Services or call (208) 426-3744. To register your team for the Veterans Cup Challenge, complete the Registration Form. Make sure to bring your ‘A’ game!

 

ATTENTION CHAPTER 33s!

You need to be a full-time student for that session (see academic calendar) to receive the full amount of your BAH. See the semester equivalency table . Your rate of pursuit must be at least 51% (7 credits for regular semester) to receive 1/2 of the normal BAH rate.

To utilize benefits you must submit your declaration before each semester by clicking on the green submit button below.  Please make sure you have provided our office with your most recent award letter, you will receive this in the mail.  If you cannot find your most recent award letter please click here and follow instructions how to help you to print your award letter from E-Benefits.

Our office and website are set up to provide information and procedures relevant to all Education Benefits provided through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Key to making the transition into university life from the military and utilizing any GI Bill ®VA educational benefits (if applicable), is interacting with our office. If you have questions we will have answers and will help you navigate through any and all processes. There are many exciting things happening on Boise State’s campus in regards to assisting and serving our student veterans. We look forward to meeting you.
