Veteran Services has moved!

Our office has relocated to a newly remodeled location.  The new location is in the Lincoln Parking Garage on the corner of Lincoln and University (recently vacated by Transportation & Parking).  We are sharing the space with the Disability Resource Center. The second phase of remodeling is construction of a lounge for you, our Veterans.  We are hoping this will be completed during the Fall semester. We are very excited about our new space and all that it will offer you as students.  Stop by and visit!  Our normal business hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm.

You need to be a full-time student for that session (see academic calendar) to receive the full amount of your BAH. See the semester equivalency table . Your rate of pursuit must be at least 51% (7 credits for regular semester) to receive 1/2 of the normal BAH rate.
For other questions please see our FAQ page to the left.

To utilize benefits you must submit your declaration before each semester by clicking on the green submit button below.  Please make sure you have provided our office with your most recent award letter, you will receive this in the mail.  If you cannot find your most recent award letter please click here and follow instructions how to help you to print your award letter from E-Benefits.

If you are new to Boise State, please contact our office prior to submitting a declaration!

CH’s 30, 1606, 1607 if you wish to receive the monthly verify notifications also via text message, please text @verify to (267) 460-7293; standard text message rates apply.  You don’t need to be concerned about our office gaining your phone number from this list, as it only stores your name.  At a later date, we may offer this same text service for other important information.   Please note that e-mail communication will continue to be sent, as this is our official method of communication and one that we are able to track.

The Boise State has been named a “Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs Magazine for three consecutive years. Our office and website are set up to provide information and procedures relevant to all Education Benefits provided through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Key to making the transition into university life from the military and utilizing any GI Bill ®VA educational benefits (if applicable), is interacting with our office. If you have questions we will have answers and will help you navigate through any and all processes. There are many exciting things happening on Boise State’s campus in regards to assisting and serving our student veterans. We look forward to meeting you.
